Cremation Options

We understand that every family has their own preferences when it comes to customizing a memorial to say good bye to their pet. We will be here to guide you in the making of these special decisions for your pet’s cremation, burial, or private memorial service.

We as Funeral Directors control the entire process from the moment your friend is placed into our care to them being returned to you. The respect that your pet will receive will be the same if not more than the care we would give our own.  Witnessing the cremation process can be done if you desire to do so for peace of mind. However, witnessing must be scheduled and performed with a private cremation only.

Semi-Private Cremation:

This process is where several pets are present in the cremation chamber during the cremation process and are separated by a physical barrier. After the cremation is completed each specific pet’s cremated remains are then returned to their owner.

Semi-Private cremations are what most cremation providers offer where they return the specific pet’s cremated remains to their owners. Many pet cremation providers regularly refer to this type of cremation as “Individual or Segregated Cremation”.  Because of this it leads families to mistakenly believe and interpret that only one pet will be cremated in the chamber during the cremation process, meaning Private.

Individual does not mean Private!

We take every precaution and use special segregation methods to keep pets separated from each other during this cremation procedure. Even though segregation methods help reduce the possibility of commingling of cremated remains, however, it does not eliminate the possibility of this event occurring during a Semi-Private cremation, or “Individual/Segregated Cremation”.
